UHS Wilson Main Tower unveiled as new ‘front door’ to Wilson Medical Center Campus

UHS is extremely excited to announce the highly anticipated opening of the new UHS Wilson Main Tower is here! Serving as the new front door to the medical campus, the Wilson Main Tower began welcoming patients and visitors on June 26. The opening transforms the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus into a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.With its strategic location facing Main Street, the Wilson Main Tower streamlines access for all individuals arriving at the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus, including those seeking emergency care. UHS Ambassadors are on hand to guide patients and visitors to their destinations within the campus, ensuring a seamless experience.The Wilson Main Tower entrance, accessible via Harrison Street, now serves as the primary point of entry for patients and visitors, offering convenient drop-off, pick-up and valet services. Valet parking is available Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., further enhancing accessibility for those seeking medical care or visiting loved ones.This innovative front door design not only provides a centralized entry point but also prioritizes patient convenience, making it easier for individuals to locate their appointments and navigate the Wilson Medical Center campus efficiently.

How will I access the new UHS Wilson Medical Center entrance?

As of June 26, the main entrance to the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus is at the Wilson Main Tower. Patients and visitors can access the main entrance via Harrison Street as they arrive at the campus. This new main entrance is used for drop-off, pick-up and valet services.

UHS Wilson Medical Center also offers many parking locations on Harrison Street and Baldwin Street. Once parked, pedestrians entering the facility can utilize the accessible ramps on both Harrison and Baldwin Streets leading to the new main entrance.

The former entrance to UHS Wilson Medical Center located on Baldwin Street is now closed to patients and visitors.

Where can I access the entrance to the Emergency Department?

As of June 26, access to the newly revamped Emergency Department at the Wilson Main Tower is available via Baldwin Street. Parking for the Emergency Department can be accessed on this same street. The new ED entrance is through the doorway on the first floor of the parking lot.
