Empty Bowls event raises over $8,000 to support hunger relief

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2025 Empty Bowl Events and showed their support for hunger relief in our area.

Thank you also to Compass Group, the UHS Food & Nutrition team and Roberson Clayworks for their partnership! Compass Group generously donates the delicious food and the beautiful pottery bowls are created and donated by our friends at Roberson Clayworks!

Tickets for Empty Bowls were $25. Of that amount, $20 benefits the work of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and $5 goes to the UHS Foundation’s STOP Hunger Fund.

For every ticket sold, the Food Bank provides 75 meals to the hungry in the Southern Tier!

Over 350 lunches were served over two days, raising over $8,750. This in our highest attended Empty Bowls yet!!!  Everyone attending enjoyed a delicious lunch and were able to take home a beautiful handcrafted pottery bowl.
