Local little leaguers hit a homerun with flower planting

The Belgray Bombers, a local travel baseball and softball team, stopped by UHS Heart & Vascular Institute on Friday, April 15, to spruce up one of their garden areas by planting some flowers.

This was done as part of one of their community service projects and the idea was suggested by UHS Heart & Vascular Institute employee Stephanie Oliver, whose son plays on the team.

Assisted by some UHS employees and parents, the team planted red flowers in the shape of a heart to brighten up the area.
