Flags raised to mark Donate Life Month

Flag-raisings took place at UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Binghamton General Hospital on April 12 in honor of National Donate Life Month. The flags will fly through the remainder of April.

This is designated each year as National Donate Life Month, celebrating those who have given the gift of life through organ, eye or tissue donation.

In partnership with the Center for Donation and Transplant at Albany Medical Center, and ConnectLife, a blood and organ donor network, UHS encourages everyone to register as an organ and tissue donor.

UHS leaders and staff welcomed Adam Cox from the Center for Donation and Transplant for a flag-raising ceremony at UHS Wilson Medical Center April 12.
