EMS Week celebrated at UHS
UHS celebrated local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers by treating them to a breakfast, luncheon, raffles and giveaways for the 50th Anniversary of EMS Week.
EMS workers from the Greater Binghamton area that work alongside UHS were invited to UHS Wilson Medical Center to say thank you for all their hard work.
EMS Week runs from May 19- 25 and is a time to thank paramedics, EMTs and the entire EMS workforce for their service and sacrifices. It's also an opportunity for EMS professionals to continue to raise public awareness about the critical role of their job in the community.
EMS Week isn’t just a celebration; it is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the unwavering dedication of those who stand on the front lines, ready to answer the call to help someone they don’t know.
EMS professionals also toured the new Emergency & Trauma Center at the Wilson Main Tower. Attendees left amazed at the new ER and excited to bring their patients to the new space.
In Delaware County, area EMS workers were surprised with gift baskets and raffle tickets, delivered by UHS Delaware Valley Hospital staff.
Make sure you thank a EMS professional for their fantastic Teamwork and all they do during EMS week and every week.
