Elisa Chrzan, Physician Practice RN, recognized as UHS Laureate

Elisa Chrzan, RN, UHS Primary Care Robinson Street, has been selected a UHS Laureate recipient. The UHS Laureate, one of highest honors to be awarded to UHS employees and providers, is given annually to those who have shown incredible dedication to excellence, patient care, and Living Our Values Every Day throughout the course of the previous year.

Elisa was nominated by five colleagues at UHS Primary Care Robinson Street, including Trisha Russell, Physician Practice Supervisor. In her nomination, Trisha says that Elisa is the only RN in the office, and though a lot of responsibility rests on her shoulders, her interactions with patients and colleagues are always rooted in compassion and respect. Below is a portion of Trisha’s nomination submission.

“Her relaxed nature makes everyone feel calm around her. She is always there to lend a hand when staff need assistance, showcasing her teamwork. Elisa has worked in several areas throughout the years at UHS. I think that her years as an RN and her experiences have taught her ways to be innovative in her role at our office. Elisa does not just come to me with a concern, but she also will bring suggestions on ways to make the situation better. We are truly blessed to have her as a team member.”

Another colleague said: “Elisa has bought the whole office flowers on Valentine's Day… She has provided advice and assistance regarding pets (as she has four dogs and two cats). She has supported coworkers and commended them for their continuous weight loss efforts. Elisa demonstrates unwavering Compassion, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation every day at work and in her personal life.”
