UHS providers and locations recognized for high online reputation score

March 13, 2025

UHS has achieved an exceptionally high score from Reputation.com, the national organization that measures the online performance of healthcare institutions.

This year marks a unique milestone in UHS’ partnership with Reputation.com. For the first time, Reputation.com has recognized UHS with a “900 Award” for 2025, which celebrates any healthcare provider or location that has earned a “reputation score” of 900 or greater. Frank Eder, MD, of UHS Primary Care Upper Front Street, and Douglas Taber, DC, of UHS Chiropractic, were recognized with the 900 award. In addition, UHS has received an “800 Award” to recognize those with a score of 800 or greater.

In total, there are 94 winners, up from 75 last year. Sixty providers and 34 UHS locations reached or exceeded the 800 benchmark. Scores ranged from 800 to 905. By comparison, the average reputation score among healthcare providers and locations nationwide is 543.

When providers and physician office locations achieve such high scores, it reflects the consistently outstanding care offered by UHS practices and their focus on creating an excellent patient experience. This recognition is a testament to UHS’ mission of delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care.

“Exceptional patient experiences are built on a foundation of quality care and meaningful engagement. This Reputation.com recognition celebrates team members who exemplify our values every day,” said John Carrigg, president and chief executive officer of UHS. “When we acknowledge providers and locations who consistently earn high ratings and reputation scores, we're not just rewarding individual excellence—we're reinforcing our commitment to the patients who trust us with their care.”

The reputation score evaluates an organization’s performance including online visibility, engagement with consumers who leave online reviews and the sentiment of reviews that have been posted. The higher the score, the greater the likelihood the location or provider will stand out among search engine and map results, as well as review sites, showing that they are doing the right things to be seen and selected by new patients.

The reputation score is calculated on a 1,000-point scale, where 1,000 is the highest possible rating on the scale and 100 the lowest. A score of 800 or above is considered very impressive.

"These aren't just numbers in the Reputation platform—they represent countless positive patient interactions and moments of compassionate care. To everyone who has contributed to these outstanding results: your commitment doesn't just improve our metrics, it transforms patient experiences," said Danielle Donlin, vice president for Physician Practices at UHS.

Reputation.com launched the award program in 2022 to recognize various businesses across the country. The number of UHS sites that have been awarded for reaching or exceeding a score of 800 has continued to rise each year.
