Community comes together for UHS hosted 'A Walk to Remember'

Parents, children, family members, friends and healthcare professionals gathered at Farm by Beer Tree Brew on Tuesday, October 15, to support each other through their experiences with pregnancy and infant loss. 

UHS hosted "A Walk to Remember", an event dedicated to babies who have died through ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death up to two years old. 

The walk allows community members to come together to support each other in grieving and remembering the life, no matter how long or short it may have been.

Attendees enjoyed music, raffle baskets, rock painting, face painting for kids, and the decorating and releasing of water lanterns.

Whether you are a bereaved parent, relative, friend or caregiver, the walk is a way of remembering a special infant in a Compassionate way.
