Skilled Nursing at Home
When a loved one is released from the hospital following an illness or injury, but still requires skilled care or therapy at home, UHS Home Care can help. Our highly competent team delivers a wide variety of medically necessary (physician-prescribed) home care services including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional services, medical social services and home health aides. You can depend on UHS Home Care to provide compassionate and highly specialized care that is sensitive to your needs.
Specialized programs include Heart at Home, Project H.E.A.R., which provides emergency help with the touch of a button, the Rehab at Home program for those recovering from illness or injury, the In Balance Fall Prevention Program for seniors and others at high risk of falling, specialized care for pediatric patients, and comprehensive wound care.
UHS Home Care is an integral part of UHS and is Medicare certified and licensed by the New York State Department of Health. UHS Home Care will bill directly to Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance carriers.
