Outpatient Treatment/Outpatient New Horizons

The UHS Addiction Medicine Department is pleased to offer a variety of outpatient services including substance use disorder assessments, outpatient groups, and medications for opioid and alcohol use disorders. We use evidence-based counseling to teach recovery skills to patients with substance use disorders in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. We offer treatment of varying intensity depending on patient need. We address multiple use disorders including alcohol, opioid, stimulant, sedative hypnotic (benzodiazepine), hallucinogen, inhalant, and cannabis. We are proud to serve over 1,000 patients a year in Broome County and Greater Binghamton, New York.
