UHS Delaware Valley Hospital named Business of the Year
UHS Delaware Valley Hospital on Oct. 18 was named Delaware County Business of the Year by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
UHS DVH was one of several businesses and groups recognized for their service to the county’s business community.
The award was presented during the chamber’s 2023 Business Awards Celebration at Bluestone Restaurant in Delhi.
UHS DVH earned the prestigious recognition as a result of the hospital’s enduring support of civic improvement projects, excellent fiscal stewardship and expansion of services to meet the changing healthcare needs of residents.
Over the past two and a half years, UHS DVH has seen a transformation,” said Rolland “Boomer” Bojo, president and chief executive officer of the hospital. “These significant achievements have not been accomplished by any one person, but have been made possible by a dedicated and hard-working team.”
Advances the hospital has made over the past few years have included the addition of primary care providers, visits from specialists, new testing services and more patient beds and staff, in addition to the successful navigation of the challenges of COVID-19, Mr. Bojo said.
Decker Advertising of Delhi shared the Business of the Year honor.
The awards celebration coincided with National Chamber of Commerce Day.
