After 18 years at the helm of UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital, Dr. Drake M. Lamen will retire in mid-April. Cecil M. Miller, III, a proven healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience in rural healthcare, has been selected to succeed him as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of Chenango County’s sole hospital.

This is a good time of year to say thank you to the doctor or doctors in your life.  Across America, March 30 is Doctors Day, an annual observance aimed at appreciating physicians who help save and improve lives everywhere.  UHS takes this opportunity to salute all of the members of our medical staff.

A program to recognize the extraordinary care and contributions of our non-licensed nursing support staff continues at UHS with Valerie Oswald, NA, North Tower 5, UHS Wilson Medical Center, who was named the February winner of the Sunshine Program Award!
