Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, observed each January, is a vital initiative to educate the public about cervical cancer, its prevalence, prevention strategies and the importance of early detection through screening.

For the health and safety of our patients and staff, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting patients if you are feeling unwell. If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or other flu-like symptoms, you are encouraged to remain home. 

The UHS Wilson Main Tower’s sixth floor is officially open! A heartfelt thank you to every employee who worked incredibly hard to ensure a seamless transition for our patients, staff and visitors. Because of our team members, the sixth floor is now able to serve patients in our Cardiology unit.

UHS Heart & Vascular Services will host a kickoff meeting of the new local Mended Hearts chapter on January 14 at 5:15pm. Mended Hearts is a patient support group that offers hope and educates patients about cardiovascular health and empowers them as they manage a heart-healthy lifestyle.
