Wilson Project: Park Place closing to thru-traffic on September 17
On Saturday, September 17, beginning at 7 a.m., Park Place on the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus, will be closed to thru-traffic in both directions. Emergency vehicles approaching Harrison Street from the north (Main Street) will experience no changes.
Emergency vehicles approaching Harrison Street from the South are advised to take Corliss Avenue to Hudson Street to Park Place making a left onto Harrison Street. When the crane is not in active mode, fencing will be moved to allow emergency vehicles passage.
In addition, the sidewalk on the east side of Park Place will be closed to pedestrian traffic.
This closure is necessary in order to accommodate the delivery of new equipment associated with the Wilson Project. We anticipate the closure of Park Place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Security Department at (607) 763-8888.
