UHS teaches bike safety at the Discovery Center's 'Truck Day'

UHS Trauma Services & Injury Prevention participated in Truck Day at The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier on Saturday, August 24.

Partnering with Broome County Traffic Safety, UHS' Bethlehem Emmons-Post and Carly Braman helped area children become safer by handing out 138 properly-fitted bike helmets at the event. The team also educated families about pedestrian and bicycle safety.
