UHS Pharmacy experiencing disruption processing HSA/FSA card transactions
Recently, UHS underwent a change to its financial transaction system, which inadvertently affected our ability to process HSA and FSA debit card payments at our pharmacy locations. We recognize the inconvenience and confusion this has caused for those patients who have attempted to use these cards.
Our finance team is diligently working toward a resolution. In the interim, we have established a temporary workaround. If you or any patient has experienced a declined transaction at our pharmacies, please return to the pharmacy to complete your purchase. Our pharmacy staff is now well informed about this situation and ready to assist you in processing your transaction from your HSA or FSA accounts.
If any patient paid for UHS Pharmacy items out-of-pocket due to the FSA/HSA card issue, they should be able to provide a copy of their receipt and submit a request for reimbursement to their financial accounts administrator as they would with any other FSA or HSA reimbursement.
