UHS Chenango Memorial Welcomes Back Dr. Kurt Harding
Familiar faces is something that residents of Chenango County become accustomed to, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is no exception to this.
UHS Chenango Memorial welcomes Kurt Harding, DO, FAAFP, as a UHS Primary Care Physician and Primary Care Medical Director. From 1995 to 2001 Dr. Harding was both a Physician and the Medical Director of Primary Care for Chenango Memorial.
Dr. Harding will be returning to UHS Chenango Memorial after spending eighteen years practicing in varying locations. He will be working out of Primary Care Norwich and will start accepting appointments on June 17.
“Dr. Harding is the perfect person to take on this job,” said Chris Kisacky, Vice President of Operations at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. “He has prior experience in this community and will complement the outstanding staff we currently have in primary care.”
Dr. Harding received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Old Westbury, NY. He completed his family practice residency at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center and has been practicing for nearly thirty-three years in total.
"Dr. Harding brings so much to the table> He is extremely smart. He has an immense amount of experience not only being a practicing physician but in varying leadership positions,” explained Kisacky.
Along with Dr. Harding’s experience, he is also a member of several prestigious organizations including the American Board of Family Practice, the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a preceptor in multiple programs.
“We are very excited to welcome Dr. Harding back and look forward to all the great things he will undoubtedly do for our community,” Kisacky said.
