UHS announced as official Orthopedic partner for Binghamton University Athletics

UHS is excited to announce a new partnership with Binghamton University and the Division of Athletics, making UHS the Official Orthopedic Partner for Bearcats Athletics.

With this new partnership, UHS is deepening its relationship with the university to support student-athletes, coaches and trainers. UHS providers will work hand in hand to drive athletic performance to the next level. Whether an athlete is in season for their respective sport or training in the off-season, they will have the opportunity to build speed and power by engaging with our athletic training staff in building a tailored plan that works for them.

A press conference to announce the partnership, held Thursday, January 30 at the UHS Orthopedic Center in Vestal, brought together leaders from UHS and Binghamton University, including UHS President and CEO John Carrigg, Binghamton University Director of Athletics Eugene Marshall, Jr. and providers from UHS Orthopedic Center.

In his remarks, Mr. Carrigg emphasized the special relationship UHS has with Binghamton University which builds a better community for our patients and neighbors in the Greater Binghamton Region. By having a strong alliance with BU, UHS is positioning itself as the leading voice for better health outcomes across our region, and this partnership is another step in that mission.
