Townsend School Girls on the Run Group Beautify DVH

This past week, after they began their run, Walton’s Townsend School student group, Girls on the Run, stopped by UHS Delaware Valley Hospital to beautify the planters at the hospital in time for the Memorial Day weekend. “It was a pleasure to have them here and to share in their enthusiasm,” said Dotti Kruppo, the hospital’s director of community relations. Once they finished their work, they took off to complete their run.
The group that combines physical activity with self esteem building activities, is led by Judy Odgen, 2nd grade teacher and Jodie Day, 3rd grade teacher at Townsend. Additional volunteers include Deborah Hughes and Sally Cranston.
