PHOTOS: UHS Nurses Week, Hospital Week 2023 celebrations

UHS celebrated "Healthcare Week" Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12 in recognition of both National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week. UHS joined similar organizations across the country to recognize and celebrate all of the healthcare professionals on the UHS team – the people who care for patients and residents in many settings, from hospitals and medical centers to nursing homes, home care agencies, and primary and specialty care offices.

The joint observance gives us the opportunity to thank everyone who works as part of the healthcare team for the dramatic and meaningful difference they make in the lives of those we serve.  The theme this year is: “We are healthcare, we are UHS!”

Many events and enjoyable activities took place across UHS to celebrate the team, both those who give direct hands-on care and those who work behind the scenes to support their colleagues.
