PHOTOS: UHS Child Care classrooms taking shape
UHS continues to make excellent progress toward opening the doors of a new child care center in early 2024. The future UHS Child Care Center will be located at 619 Main Street in Johnson City, a former grocery store.
In a November 1 walkthrough of the building, our crews were able to see the classrooms taking shape with bright paint colors, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, brand new flooring and a tremendous amount of natural light coming through the center's windows.
Designed to accommodate 82 children, the center will provide child care and early education programs for infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten prep-aged children. Full-time and part-time options are available; the options are 5, 3 or 2 full-day schedules. The center will operate year-round from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The UHS Child Care Center is currently enrolling in all age groups. To learn more and register your child, click here.
