Nightwork to shift traffic patterns on Main Street in Johnson City
Beginning the evening of Sunday, October 22 at 8pm, there will be an overnight change in traffic patterns on Main Street in Johnson City. The changes will stretch from St. Charles to Baldwin Street through end of business on Friday, October 27.
The traffic pattern changes will occur overnight from 8pm to 6am. During this time, there will be one lane open with the guidance of flaggers at all times.
Drivers will still be able to access the UHS Wilson Medical Center Emergency Room on Harrison Street during this time.
Additional road work to be aware of: Starting Monday morning from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., LeChase will be making improvements to the traffic signals each day at the intersection of Main Street & Harrison Street. Turn lanes into Harrison and a left turn lane out of Harrison St will also be added to allow two lanes of traffic. Flagmen and cones will be used to mark their workspace.
