New sign on the Wilson Main Tower lights up the night sky

Progress continues on the UHS Wilson Main Tower with the Spring opening right around the corner. On March 25, the first of three UHS logo signs were installed on the tower, illuminating the Johnson City skyline!

The first sign, installed on the front of the building, will be followed by signs installed on the east and west facing sides of the building. The LED lighted letters are each hung individually, weighing around 100lbs. For the front signage, a 120ft boom lift was used to make the installation possible. The next two signs are expected to be installed by the end of next week.

The Wilson Main Tower is the new front door to a wide range of services and another example of how UHS is creating a great patient experience.
