Lamoureux named VP for Human Resources at United Health Services
Sheri Lamoureux has joined the United Health Services (UHS) healthcare system in Binghamton as Vice President for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Lamoureux will be responsible for all Human Resources functions within the UHS System.
"Sheri has a strong interest in talent management which includes employee engagement, workforce and leadership development, succession planning and diversity and inclusion," said John M. Carrigg, President and Chief Executive Officer of UHS, in announcing her appointment.
He said that Ms. Lamoureux will work closely with each of the UHS member-organizations to further integrate and standardize HR services.
"Sheri brings a fresh perspective to UHS and a strategic orientation as we continue to grow as an organization, with our people absolutely elevated as our most critical resource," Mr. Carrigg noted.
Ms. Lamoureux comes to UHS with more than 20 years' experience in the Human Resources field.
Most recently she was vice president for HR at Avangrid, and previously held executive and leadership positions in such areas as HR services, HR planning, employee relations and workforce diversity with NYSEG, Energy East Corp. and Iberdrola USA.
Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Ms. Lamoureux received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Binghamton University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with an emphasis in Human Resources and Healthcare, from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Broome County Council of Churches.
Ms. Lamoureux and her husband Victor have three children and live in Vestal.
