'Hearty Party' to benefit UHS team effort
For the second year in a row, UHS will raise money for
the Heart Walk by holding a pre-walk "Hearty Party"
at a Vestal church.
UHS' second annual “Hearty Party” will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m., on Friday, April 7, in the gym at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main St., in Vestal.
The party will be loads of fun for every member of the family, and will be held to support the efforts of Team UHS in the upcoming Heart Walk in the Southern Tier area.
Dinner will include spiedies, ziti, salad, dessert and beverages. The event will feature live music, children’s activities, local vendors, and a basket drawing.
Tickets are available at UHS Stay Healthy in the Oakdale Mall, for $10 per person, in advance or at the door.
As part of their charitable mission to the community, UHS employees are forming a team for the 28th annual Heart Walk, benefitting the work of the American Heart Association.
The walk is scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 9, on the campus of SUNY Broome Community College.
