Community comes together for 'A Walk to Remember'
Parents, children, family members, friends and healthcare professionals gathered at the Vestal Coal House on Saturday, October 14, to support each other through their experiences with pregnancy and infant loss.
UHS hosted "A Walk to Remember" down the Vestal Rail Trail, dedicated to babies who have died through ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death up to two years old.
The walk allows community members to come together to support each other in grieving and remembering the life, no matter how long or short it may have been.
Whether you are a bereaved parent, relative, friend or caregiver, the walk is a way of remembering a special infant in a Compassionate way.
