Baldwin Street is new entrance to UHS Wilson Medical Center
UHS Wilson Medical Center’s main public entrance has moved from Harrison Street (the Decker Center entrance) to Baldwin Street. The new entrance features a drive-up/drop-off zone for cars and medi-vans arriving with patients or visitors, and security personnel are available for wheelchair and escort assistance. Free and easily-accessible patient and visitor parking is located directly across from the new Baldwin Street entrance.
The entrance will remain in this location until early 2024.
This change accommodates the move of the Emergency Department entrance, which allows the construction of a new state-of-the-art clinical tower, the first expansion of the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus in more than 30 years. Facing Main Street, the six-story tower will be the front door to UHS’ services, and will feature a new trauma center and emergency department, an MRI suite, four inpatient units with private patient rooms, a surgical support area and a new rooftop helipad.
If you have an upcoming outpatient appointment on the UHS Wilson campus in Johnson City, you may wish to call the provider’s office and confirm the office address and suggested parking location.
