Baldwin St. to be closed to Thru Traffic; July 5 – July 29
Beginning on Tuesday, July 5, Baldwin St. on the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus, will be closed to thru traffic in both directions. This closure is necessary in order to accommodate storm water line infrastructure improvements associated with the Wilson Project. Work is expected to last through Friday, July 29.
July 5 – July 29:
Both lanes (North and Southbound) will be closed from the cross street entering the Gateway Parking Lot, to just south of the corner of the Decker Building.
Patients and visitors will be able to access the Gateway Parking Lot from the north (Main St.) end of Baldwin St., or from both the north (Main St.) and south (Corliss Ave) ends of Arch St. There will be No Access to the Gateway Parking Lot from the south (Corliss Ave.) end of Baldwin St.
Access from the Gateway Parking Lot to the Baldwin St. Entrance will not be impacted.
Access to the main Loading Dock for deliveries, will be from the south (Corliss Ave.) end of Baldwin St. only.
The sidewalk on the west (Hospital) side of Baldwin St., in the construction zone will be closed. Pedestrians will be required to use the sidewalk on the east (Gateway) side.
