UHS Foundation’s Journey Campaign

Join us on our Journey as we transform UHS patient care and build our future in healthcare!

UHS is on a Journey to Lead, Invest and Innovate. We are committed to investing in the future of our community’s health.  The UHS Wilson Project marks the first expansion of UHS Wilson Medical Center in more than 30 years.  The project will transform patient care at UHS by featuring 120 new private patient rooms and bathrooms, a renovated Imaging Center Department in Johnson City with an in-house MRI, a new Emergency and Trauma Center three times larger than our current facility, plus a new helipad with direct access to the Emergency Department.

The UHS Foundation’s $10 million capital campaign goal will help support this new expansion. $8.2 million has been raised so far, thanks to the generous support of individuals and businesses in our community!

To show your support with a gift of any amount, please donate online, or simply contact the UHS Foundation at 607-762-2171 or uhsfoundation@nyuhs.org for information on naming opportunities, estate planning, memorial or honor gifts and/or other ways to give.

Mary Surdey, UHS Foundation, Board Chair:

"My contributions back to the community center around the organization. I ask myself, what is its mission, vision and values? I look at the leadership, the outreach and the strategic plan. What’s the organizations contribution to the community? For me, UHS has all these things and I know my money will be put to good use and help make a difference in our community.”
