Audiology

To schedule a hearing evaluation or screening in New York call 607-762-2494.

A diagnostic order for Complete Hearing Evaluation or Hearing Aid Evaluation written by your medical provider may be required. No order is needed for a Hearing Aid Check or Repair appointment, but please state your hearing aid brand and/or the name of your audiologist in New York when calling to schedule.

If you or a loved one is experiencing hearing loss or having difficulty discriminating sounds, the audiology team at UHS can help. Our audiologists in New York have comprehensive training in the prevention, education, assessment and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders. They are also licensed by New York state and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.

The UHS Audiology department offers not for profit, non-commission based hearing aid dispensing with medical clearance required prior to hearing aid fitting.  UHS participates with many insurance vendors but it is the patient's responsibility to know their hearing aid benefit requirements prior to scheduling a Hearing Aid Evaluation.

To contact the department directly with questions, call 607-763-6554.
