Mirabito Convenience Stores raises $65,000 for the UHS Wilson Main Tower
A very special thank you to Mirabito Convenience Stores for its contribution of $65,000 to the UHS Foundation in support of the UHS Wilson Main Tower. The money was raised through its Round Up Campaign during the month of June. Mirabito employees encouraged customers to “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar to support UHS.
“At Mirabito, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us,” said Marissa Sweeney, Marketing Director at Mirabito. “The success of our Round Up campaign is a testament to the generosity of our customers and their commitment to improving local healthcare. We are proud to support the UHS Wilson Main Tower and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our community’s health and well-being.”
The Mirabito Convenience Store in Greene raised the most money per transaction, so team members from the UHS Foundation and UHS Physical Therapy Greene were on hand to accept the big check at the Greene store on July 26.
UHS President & CEO John Carrigg and UHS Foundation Executive Director Cory Jacobs also welcomed Marissa Sweeney to the UHS Hospitals Board Meeting on July 31 to celebrate Mirabito’s generosity with board members. Joe Mirabito, Chairman & CEO of Mirabito, serves on the United Health Services Inc. Board of Directors. He is also a former member of the UHS Foundation Board.
