UHS Pharmacy: Open to the community day or night

Located in Binghamton, Endicott, Johnson City, Vestal and Walton, our full-service retail pharmacies accept prescriptions from any provider and are open to the public, processing most insurance carriers.

In addition, for one-stop-shopping convenience, UHS pharmacies stock the most-requested over-the-counter items so patrons can purchase cough drops, aspirin or other items when picking up a prescription.

Our newest location, UHS Pharmacy Johnson City, recently opened at 345 Main St. The 11,000-square-foot remodeled space is conveniently located across the street from the new Wilson Main Tower on the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus.

This new retail pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers an around-the-clock drive-through option.

UHS Laboratory Services: Faster results for better care

UHS operates 16 conveniently located patient centers for laboratory services, offering a modern clinical laboratory combined with comprehensive clinical and anatomical pathology services.

Our lab service centers offer quick and easy registration, and appointments are not necessary for routine tests. Specialized testing may require an appointment or a visit to a UHS laboratory; these can be accessed at one of our four UHS hospitals.

Our clinical laboratories at UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Binghamton General Hospital are open 24/7 to deliver accurate and timely analysis for everything from basic blood tests to complex pathologic studies. Our highly qualified team uses sophisticated lab analytics to help diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.

Our Lab Services team can conduct hundreds of tests at our local laboratories. For those tests not performed in-house, we have a special connection to the nationally renowned Mayo Clinic. The partnership with Mayo Clinic offers additional testing, plus consultation for physicians on testing and provider education. Together with the Mayo Clinic, UHS can provide better healthcare to our community and expand on our existing offerings.

The team is always working on new, innovative ways to best accommodate patient needs. Recently, the hours of operation at UHS draw sites have been expanded, with some sites opening as early as 6 a.m.

UHS Imaging: Helping get the full picture

With six convenient locations in the Southern Tier of NY, there’s a UHS Imaging center near you. Our team uses the latest technology and equipment in comfortable, patient-centered settings to give you the best service possible.

Within the last year, across the UHS System, new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners have been added, including a Siemens Magnetom Prisma 3 Tesla scanner located at UHS Vestal, making Broome County home to one of the most advanced MRI technologies in the region. This will allow UHS to offer cutting-edge clinical diagnostics for our patients.
