That’s why at UHS Wilson Medical Center, our skilled New York neurosurgeons offer a neurosciences step-down unit, state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and treatment of brain and spine diseases, a highly qualified staff of New York's best neurosurgeon and neurologists, and a full range of rehabilitation therapy options. These may include the Sandiford Rehabilitation Center and home care service.
At UHS Delaware Valley Hospital there is a Swing Bed Program for patients. This program is for patients who have recovered from an acute care hospital stay, but need additional recovery time before going home, this program, called “Swing Bed” allows patients to stay in the hospital and receive physical and/or occupational therapy services as they gain strength and stamina following a debilitating illness or injury.
